Summer Bridge Middle School Programs will take place June 3 - 27.
Registration for Summer Bridge starts March 19, 2024
Enroll early, especially if your child needs transportation. The school district may need to create new bus stops to accommodate students who enroll after May 1. Credit recovery courses will also be offered to eligible students in math, science, social studies and language arts.

Hours: 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Bus Times: Coming soonMeals: Breakfast and lunch will be served each day. Most sites will offer free meals. At the following locations, charges will vary depending on free-reduced and paid lunch status: Carwise, Palm Harbor, and SeminoleEligible Students: all rising (Current grades 5-7)

The Summer Bridge Middle School Program helps students develop and strengthen skills in math, reading, science, and social studies. Activities will include hands-on math projects, financial literacy lessons and STEM challenges. Students will have the opportunity to participate in elective programs. In accordance with School Board policy, regular transportation is provided for eligible students attending their zoned school or a designated feeder school if students live more than two miles from the school. The school district may need to create new bus stops to accommodate students who enroll after May 1.- If children can be accommodated at an existing bus stop, they will have transportation Day 1.
- However, if a new stop needs to be created, transportation will be provided, but it may not be available until a few days after Summer Bridge begins.
Middle School Course/Credit Recovery Program
The Course Recovery program is for middle school students who were not successful in completing a middle school core course. Credit Recovery Courses will be offered in math, science, social studies and language arts. Check with your child's guidance counselor for eligibility.Locations: Azalea, Bay Point, Carwise, Dunedin Highland, Fitzgerald, James B. Sanderlin, John Hopkins, Largo, Meadowlawn, Oak Grove, Osceola, Palm Harbor, Pinellas Park, Safety Harbor, Seminole, Tarpon Springs, Thurgood Marshall and Tyrone Middle Schools.Disston Academy, Lealman Innovation and Pinellas High Innovation are Course Recovery Sites only.Transportation is available to your zoned middle school! In alignment with School Board policy, regular transportation is provided for eligible middle school students attending their zoned school. Students who live more than two (2) miles from the school are eligible for transportation.
